Implement the Virtual Integration Concept.

Transfer the various individual components into a tangible complete product.

Why.

Do not perceive the individual components separately but allow for a holistic experience.

What.

By designing the interior and a consistent interaction concept, you develop and implement a holistic product.

Who.

How.

Input

Specific hardware components, virtual integration concept.

Optimize and Give Full Particulars

In a first step, optimize and give full particulars of the components (e.g. in terms of ergonomics, positioning, technical revision). Take requirements from the specification sheet and integration concept into consideration. In the focus, however, in addition to the pure optimization, is also the revision of the various individual components with regard to their homogeneity to one another. You can support these by connecting design elements, such as a coherent interaction approach through gesture or touch.

Validate

When an integration concept is implemented the Human Factors Expert checks it directly in terms of coherence to the story and to the framework.

Adapt

Record and incorporate change requests, that are still necessary to preserve the story, into the final product.

Output

Insights

In this important phase of the integration, it is elementary to ensure that the actual story does not get lost. Interim evaluations are very helpful in this respect.

The use of connecting design elements supports a comprehensive overall experience.
